1Data Ownership and Your Content

You retain full ownership, rights, and interest in any data, information, media, and content you upload, input, or generate within the Service (“Your Content”). HomeWatcherHQ does not claim ownership of Your Content. By using the Service, you grant HomeWatcherHQ a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, process, and modify Your Content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, improving, and supporting the Service. We will never sell or share Your Content with third parties for advertising or unrelated commercial purposes.

2Privacy and Data Handling

Our approach to privacy and security is governed by our Privacy Policy. Key principles include:

• Data Collection: We collect personal and operational information (such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, property details, photos, and maintenance records) through your direct use of the Service.
• Data Use: Your Content is used exclusively to deliver and enhance your experience within HomeWatcherHQ — including property monitoring, inspection reports, and maintenance coordination.
• Data Segregation: Each customer’s data is logically and programmatically isolated to prevent cross-access between organizations.
• Internal Access Control: Access levels are role-based:
  • Users: Can view and manage only their own properties or those shared with them.
  • Admins: Have broader access for organizational management and reporting.
• AI and Model Training: Your proprietary data is never used to train AI models that benefit other customers.
• Data Storage: Your Content is securely stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the us-west-2 region (Oregon).
• Data Retention & Deletion: Your Content remains stored as long as your account is active. You can delete it or request permanent deletion by contacting support@homewatcherhq.com.

3Security

HomeWatcherHQ employs administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect Your Content and personal information. Authentication, multi-factor authentication, secure AWS infrastructure, encrypted credentials, and incident response measures are all in place to ensure your data is safe.

4Use of Commercially Available LLMs

To provide AI-driven features, HomeWatcherHQ integrates with select third-party LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google). Sub-processors are contractually prohibited from using your data for model training outside of HomeWatcherHQ operations. Retention policies vary by provider, ensuring data privacy and compliance.

5Paid Customizations

Custom integrations or features may be offered for additional fees. These are governed by separate Statements of Work (SOWs) or addenda, subject to these Terms.

6Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials, ensuring authorized use, notifying HomeWatcherHQ of unauthorized activity, and ensuring your content complies with applicable laws.

7Modification of Terms

HomeWatcherHQ reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
